
How durable is powder coating?
Powder coating is a dry finishing technique that is incredibly durable in the toughest conditions. It is highly resilient to cracking, peeling and UV rays, thus making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications – particularly if these are exposed to the elements.

Do I have a choice of finishes?
There is a wide range of finished finishes available which are all possible thanks to advancements in powder coating technology. Finishes can range from wrinkles hammer tones, textures, ripples right through to a simple smooth finish matte, satin or gloss.
Will powder coating work on anything?
Powder coating will not work on certain materials because they would not be able to withstand the extreme heat during the curing process. Any non-metal material would not be ideal, such as wood, plastics and rubber which would easily melt or burn during the curing stages of powder coating.

Do parts have to be rust free and clean?
Yes, parts do have to be rust free. Our preparation and pre-treatment steps in the powder coating process will remove any oils, dirt and grease that could hinder the powder coating bond. All parts are inspected thoroughly before the process begins.
Can previously powder coated or painted parts be powder coated?
All parts can be powder coated, even if it has previously been powder coated, but only if the product has been stripped or sandblasted by the customer. This preparation process will bring the items back to the bare metal, making it ideal for the powder coating process. All parts are inspected thoroughly before the process begins.
